The Helios 44-2 lens was created in the Soviet Union, inspired by the German Carl Zeiss Biotar 58mm f/2 lens. Renowned for its outstanding optical characteristics and distinctive vintage visual style, the Helios 44-2 gained popularity. We have adapted this legendary lens for use on modern video cameras with follow focus systems, allowing you to achieve incredible vintage imagery in your video projects. With our modification, you’ll enjoy smooth and precise focus control essential for professional work, while preserving the unique character and quality of the Helios 44-2.

– aperture is de-clicked
– mechanical part cleaned and oiled ( minimal play in the mechanisms is possible | does not affect operation )
– cleaned aperture and optics ( minimal signs of use on the glass are acceptable | do not affect image quality )
– focusing in full range, including infinity
– has 2 metal gears
– front and back caps included
– front screw filter size 77mm and outside diameter ~80mm (can be changed upon request)
