A Soviet-era original, the Mir-10A 28mm f/3.5 is a compact wide-angle prized by cinematographers for its distinctive rendering. It exhibits a notable field curvature, creating a signature look where the plane of focus seems to “wrap around” the subject—a highly desirable character trait for visual storytelling that modern, clinically corrected lenses often lack.
